Sasol Tzaneen switches to paper

A large staff contingent from Sasol Tzaneen paid a visit to the pupils of Manorvlei and Loretto Primary Schools on the 23rd of November. Their message was simple: “plastic harms the environment”.

To aid in this message, Sasol Tzaneen was joined by Blue Label Distribution. Together, they instructed the pupils of the two schools to decorate a batch of recyclable paper bags which will be used by the customers to the Sasol Tzaneen convenience store during the Christmas holidays.

Earlier this year Sasol Tzaneen was pleasantly inspired when their first related project was successfully initiated. Foundation phase pupils from Unicorn Primary School had the opportunity to personally decorate brown paper bags with sponsored paint and crafts.  These decorative paper bags were essentially given to our first 500 lucky customers, in-store.

The project is driven by the hashtag #nomoreplastic and it is the hope of Sasol Tzaneen that these awareness campaigns and special projects will go a long way in promoting the process of recycling and thereby helping to secure a brighter future for the generations to come.
