Rally racing enthusiasts can look forward to another weekend of fast-paced, high decibel action when the third round of the ARRO National Rally Championship hits the streets and byways of Tzaneen on the 27th and 28th of July this year. Once again the main race sponsor will be Midas Tzaneen, and if last year’s resounding success is anything to go by, this round of racing will provide top class entertainment for all.
The event will be known as the ARRO National Rally Championship Round 3 and will be run in the Tzaneen area. The races will officially start at 14:00 on Friday the 27th and will conclude once the final results are in, on Saturday afternoon the 28th of July.
For this round the ‘Reverse Grid’ start will be in use meaning that the slowest competitor will enter the course first. The exact routes of the various stages will be announced closer to the date on our website at www.bulletin.us.com.
Three of Tzaneen’s most well-known rally stars, Louis Menge of S&J Auto, Marco Lottering of NTT Toyota and Eddie Simpson will also be seen in action around the course. As it stands, Louis navigates for Anton Raaths and the pair is currently in second spot nationally in Group C. Driver Eddie Simpson and his navigator, Isabel Raaths occupy second spot in the Group D national standings where Louis also navigates for driver, Cobus Groenewald.
For any further information please contact Louis Menge at S&J Auto on 015-307-7631/2064 and keep an eye on your Bulletin in the weeks to come for updates.
